Green Light Pharmacy is recognised as a leader in the provision of pharmacy services and has a purpose built training venue in central London, at our Euston branch (NW1). Our training course is targeted to help Community Pharmacy pre-registration - that one year period between obtaining your pharmacy degree and becoming qualified pharmacists.
Pre reg Tutors
We run a day long training session in June each year covering aspects of the pre reg manual, how to handle the pre reg year and many other aspects of being a tutor.
Pre reg Students
The pre-registration training course consists of one full training day per month. Individual sessions may be attended instead of the full course. All training will be held at Green Light Pharmacy, a showcase for community Pharmacy practice in the future.
The course will comprise of 10 sessions from August 2006 until May 2007, covering topics such as:
- The Performance Standard Framework
- Pharmaceutical Calculations
- First Aid certificate
- Medicines, Ethics and Practice
- Minor Ailments in the Pharmacy
