Pre-registration year opportunities at Green Light Pharmacy

Green Light Pharmacy have designed a comprehensive pre-registration program which will equip you with the skills required to not just pass the pre-reg exam, but to go on to be able to practice pharmacy confident in the knowledge of having gained a sound foundation on which to build a successful career in the pharmacy profession.

The year involves a hands on approach combined with excellent support and tutoring and free placement on the Green Light Pharmacy 10 day pre-reg study course. Topics in these “away day” courses include calculations, law and ethics, mock examination, clinical lectures and first aid certification.

Cross sector experience in a central London teaching hospital is included.

Green Light Pharmacy is a recognized leader in the provision of clinical services. As well as being able to gain experience of a comprehensive range of the enhanced and advanced services of the NHS Pharmacy Contract, you will have the opportunity to partake in innovative private and locally commissioned services including health promotion talks to the local community, undergraduate teaching, weight management program, influenza and travel clinics. The focus of the year is to combine a clinical approach with gaining practical experience and management skills to allow the "real world" application of the knowledge gained from your undergraduate degree.

Pre-registration training posts are available in central, north and west London.
