Safe disposal of Waste medicines

Sometimes you find yourself with expired medicines or medicines you no longer take in the house. For safety reasons you should return these to the pharmacy for safe disposal as outlined below:

What we can -

• Are you returning only medicines incl. Tablets and Capsules, Creams and Ointments, Liquid Medicines, Inhalers, Ampoules

and can't accept -

• If we are delivering, we can't pick-up waste medicine to return to the pharmacy.
• Please do not return "sharps" ie needles and syringes.
• We cannot accept: Veterinary products, Dialysis Kits, Pesticides or other garden chemicals.

Contact your local council for safe disposal of products that we cannot accept from you.
